Last Sunday, November 29, HBO Spain arrived one of the series of the season: 30 coins. Directed by the prestigious filmmaker Álex de la Iglesia and starring such popular faces on the national scene as Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Megan Montaner or Macarena Gómez, production, straddling the thriller and the horror genre (with a certain humorous touch), announced its arrival with a completely disturbing premise: “Judas betrayed Jesus Christ for 30 coins. 2000 years later, one of them appears in Spain.” With so only 8 episodes lasting one hour each, the plot has already been considered by many to be one of the reference fictions of the next season. But it is not the only surprise that its chapters hid: Cosimo Fusco, the interpreter who plays the role of the devil himself, also appears in Friends, one of the most remembered productions on television.
The most famous friends in television history are back in 2021
Do you put a face on it? Do you know what character Cosimo played in the series Joey, Mónica, Phoebe, Chandler, Ross y Rachel? Although his role was not among the protagonists, the greatest followers of the series surely have not been able to forget Paolo, the Italian boyfriend Rachel had (Jennifer Aniston) at the beginning of her adventures as an independent girl in New York City during the first season. A boyfriend who would quickly turn into her worst nightmare. Ross and that it was marked by the topics about the men of the Mediterranean country (you just have to remember how the character tries to imitate the accent of his rival to laugh at him).
The Italian character made his first appearance in Friends in 1994 in the episode The One With The Blackout, when Rachel ran into him in the hallway of their building during a power outage. The couple ended up dating, although the romance did not last long because she left him upon discovering that he had spent the night with Phoebe in her massage parlor. In addition to those four chapters, Paolo reappeared in season two when Rachel had a one-night stand with him to try and get over Ross dating Julie. The interpreter has not only participated in this international production. Cosimo, who is fluent in English, Italian, French and is also learning Spanish, has been part of projects as important as The mentalist, 60 seconds, Alias, and the movie Angels and Demons, the adaptation of Dan Brown’s novel starring Tom Hanks.
