We are already at the weekend, for some on vacation, for others to rest at home / work, for all of us from terrifying heat. Whether you are vacationing, working out or with plans not to go out from under the air conditioning until Tuesday, we have up to 26 interesting and varied premieres, impossible to see them all in just 2-3 days.

On Netflix we have The director, in which a Sandra Oh fresh out of Killing Eve – and lending her voice to Raya and the Last Dragon– should be in charge of chairing an English department at a major university. And also one of the heaviest premieres of the platform this year with Sweet Girl, in which the charismatic Jason Momoa -Aquaman, Justice League- plays a vengeful character who hunts down those who murdered his wife while trying to protect the only family he has left: his daughter.

Between routines, phone calls and a lot of time at home, Mathilda wonders if her relationship with Drea is real or not.

Silent Witness

Friday 20 at 22:00 at # 0 (dial 7). Every week, two episodes, one case. A group of forensic pathologists will have to face new cases in the twenty-third season of ‘Silent Witness’, the longest running current police thriller. Initial suspicions will have to be corroborated in the laboratory, but nothing is what it seems and this team of forensics will have to do their best to discover what story each corpse tells.

Big Weekend: el festival de BBC Radio 1

As every year, the Big Weekend is presented with an overwhelming line-up and on its 16th anniversary the most outstanding artists of the current music scene take to its main stage such as Miley Cyrus, 1975, Billie Eilish, Mumford & Sons, Lewis Capaldi, Ellie Goulding , Foals, Sigrid, Rita Ora, Pale Waves, Charli XCX, Anne-Marie or Zara Larsson. The two episodes of ‘Big Weekend: the BBC Radio 1 festival’ collect the best moments of the last edition that was held in person of one of the most acclaimed musical events of the year.

Lupin III: The First

22: 00h at Movistar Premieres (dial 30). Nazis willing to restore the Third Reich, a mysterious diary, an infinite energy generator (very dangerous in the wrong hands) and the brilliant white-gloved thief Lupine III come together in this fun ‘anime’ adventure starring the grandson of that famous Arsenio Lupine created by Maurice Leblanc in the early 20th century.
