Un analista jefe de Bloomberg cree haber descubierto la identidad del creador del bitcóin

Bloomberg’s senior analyst for exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Eric Balchunas, has revealed the identity of what he believes would be the creator of bitcoin.

In a tweet published last Sunday, Balchunas assures that the cryptocurrency was the work of the American computer programmer Hal Finney. According to him, to reach this conclusion he has based on all the data he has studied about the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto, the nickname by which the legendary creator of Bitcoin is known.

His tweet is accompanied by a screenshot of a 1993 forum post in which Finney describes an idea of ”crypto trading cards,” essentially what are now called non-fungible tokens (NFTs). .

Finney is known as one of the early supporters of bitcoin, who not only helped improve the BTC network, but would have corresponded by email with Nakamoto, making the first bitcoin transaction with him in 2009.

The man died in 2014 at the age of 58 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Over the last few years, there are those who affirm that behind the figure of Nakamoto will be the British Adam Back, executive director of Blockstream. There were even those who claimed to be the creator of bitcoin, as the Australian computer scientist and businessman Craig Wright.

Last April, Wright received permission from a London court to sue a group of unknown people who call themselves Cobra and control the bitcoin.org portal for intellectual property infringement.
