In the waters of the Red Sea, a man who practiced ‘parasailing’, an aquatic activity that consists of flying in a parachute pulled by a boat, suffered serious foot injuries when he was attacked by a shark off the coast of the city of Aqaba, in southern Jordan.
In the images recorded from the boat that circulate on social networks, the shark can be observed taking half of its body above the water level and capturing the bather by one foot, partially submerging it for a few moments.
The victim had to fight for a few seconds before being able to free himself and thus gain the necessary height to be out of reach of the shark, not without having suffered serious injuries for which he was transferred to a local hospital.
