A slab fell in La Florida neighborhood: a worker was injured

An accident at a construction site in San Francisco’s La Florida neighborhood shortly after noon on Wednesday left a bricklayer injured. He suffered a broken foot.

It happened in the Republic of Lebanon Street at 400, when a slab gave way because it did not support the weight of the cement that the workers placed at that time.

As a result of the accident, the young worker – who would have been identified as Elian Aguirre – among the rubble. Meanwhile, he was rescued by volunteer firefighters who worked in the place, where police personnel from the San Justo Department were also constituted.
