Week of gala looks among the most influential royals

Last Wednesday, it was Máxima from the Netherlands who showed us the most majestic image of her during the traditional reception dinner for the Diplomatic Corps at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. For the occasion, King William’s wife wore a trompe l’oeil effect dress and her spectacular transformable tiara.

A day later, it is Mary from Denmark who shows us that more palatial image through a style in which she recycles a design with a trick that she updates to show off her neckline again and that she accompanies, among other jewels, a pendant of great value sentimental.

A 2017 dress that is modernized

The new gala look and with tiara of Mary of Denmark comes to us on the occasion of a dinner in Amalienborg due to the state visit that Kings Harald and Sonia are making these days from Norway. For the occasion, the Princess wanted to recycle a dress that she, curiously, chose in 2017 during the joint celebration of the 80th birthday of the Norwegian Kings.

However, if that day this design featured a box neckline, she updated it yesterday and pronounced this neckline making it much wider and rounded cut. Signed by Max Mara and baptized as the Gabriel model, it is a caramel-colored Jacquard design that, trickily, enhances the figure, since the body is very fitted to the figure and the skirt presents a great flare that comes from below from the hips.

A self-gift tiara and a pendant with great sentimental value

To accompany her Max Mara dress, Mary has recovered her pink crystal clutch, from Serpui (she premiered it on September 10, 2022 during the Golden Jubilee of Queen Margrethe of Denmark); and hers hers Manolo Blahnik’s BB salons in gold that she has had since 2014. On the other hand, among her jewels, her 14-carat gold and silver tiara with round rubies, diamonds and spinels stands out. It is one of her favorites and she bought it herself at the Bruun Rasmuseen auction house for about 4,000 euros (although it belonged to a 2012 catalog, she wore it for the first time in 2015). Finally, her necklace from 2022 from Halberstadt does not go unnoticed by her, from which she attaches a diamond pendant with great sentimental value to her, since it recreates an ‘F’ in honor of her husband, Prince Frederick.
