Ab Montag online: WeAreDevelopers Live Week mit Tim Berners-Lee

The WAD World Congress (WeAreDevelopers) will take place next week as a digital edition under the motto “Create. Apply. Disrupt”. The conference extends over four days: from June 28 to July 1, developers can choose from a wide range of presentations. The conference language is English.

Over 100 speakers present their expertise, including the inventor of the WWW Sir Tim Bernes-Lee, Stack Overflow founder Jeff Atwood and the quantum computing expert Alexandra Waldherr. Thematically, the talks span an arc from the cloud, microservices and architecture to DevOps and game development to security, testing and programming languages. Diversity, women in tech and the recruiting of specialist staff as well as management practice and cultural issues are also represented.

On Monday and Tuesday (June 28th and 29th) the heise developer editorial team will moderate a separate stage on the topics of machine learning, programming languages, web development and continuous testing. Participation in the conference costs 299 euros (including VAT), and there are discounted tickets for groups, start-ups and students.
