Ahsoka Tano’s series could have a fellow female lead last seen in Star Wars Rebels

Various sources have confirmed that Lucasfilm is looking for an actress to play a live-action version of Sabine Wren to participate in the next Star Wars series starring Ahsoka Tano, to be played by Rosario Dawson.

As reported Slashfilm Y The Hollywood Reporter, when Disney and Marvel were talking about possible characters to move into the series What if …? From animation to live action, they ended up talking about the next Star Wars series: Ahsoka, knowing that “Lucasfilm is looking for an actress to star in the series alongside Dawson as Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren..”

For those of you unfamiliar, Sabine Wren is a human Mandalorian warrior who was one of the main characters in Star Wars Rebels.. Without spoiling too much, the ending of Rebels left us with Ahsoka and Sabine together, which would make their addition to this new series make all the sense in the world.

There have also been a ton of clues on The Mandalorian that we could see a live action version of Sabine, since the first trailer for the second season of The Mandalorian and other promotional images have shown various graffiti, which is very important for the character of Sabine. What’s more, Sabine Wren was once the wielder of the saber of darkness, the weapon that ends up having a lot of prominence in The Mandalorian.
