The PlayStation Showcase not only brought announcements of new video games, we also saw others loaded with nostalgia. Alan Wake Remastered it was the most notable case. After being announced earlier in the week, the Alan Wake remaster was officially unveiled with a trailer and its release date was revealed: October 5, 2021. This new version will include the base game and its two expansions, The Signal and The Writer.
Although it was presented at the PlayStation Showcase, the video game will arrive on the platforms of PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC (Epic Games Store). In fact, it was thanks to the leaks in the Epic Games Store that we learned about the remastering of the video game last June.
As for the last generation version of Alan Wake Remastered, it has been confirmed that in PS4 Pro will offer Performance and Quality modes. The latter will allow the console to reach 60fps, while the former does so at 4K and 30fps. For its part, the PS5 version will run at 4K and 60fps.
