Alberto Fernández receives the booster dose of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine

The president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, received this Monday the booster dose of the vaccine against covid-19, Sputnik V, a drug developed by the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology of Russia, and called on Argentines to be inoculated and complete their vaccination schedules.

“Today I received the reinforcement of my vaccination schedule with a dose of Sputnik V. It is important that each and every one of us complete the schedules and give ourselves the reinforcements to sustain this epidemiological situation and continue to grow,” said the president through from your Twitter account.

Fernández, 62, received the first dose on January 21 at the Posadas Hospital in Buenos Aires, after the National Administration of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT) recommended its use in people over 60 years of age.
