Today the Disney+ Day, an event in which Disney has presented the next series that will arrive on the company’s streaming platform from both Marvel like Star Wars, in addition to Pixar and other own productions. Therefore, we offer you a summary with the main announcements that have left us the first glimpses of long-awaited adaptations such as Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Obi-Wan and many more.

All the new Marvel and Star Wars series

We start with Agatha: House of Harkness, where the ever-brilliant Kathryn Hahn will step up and rise from high school and luxury villain on WandaVision to the star of her own show. It will be a spin off of the Scarlet Witch and Vision series for which there is still no scheduled release date, as Disney is limited to an ambiguous “coming soon”.

The same happens with the second of the series announced on this Disney + Day. We refer to Echo, series based on the character of the same name (and who we also know as Ronin). In the Marvel universe, Echo is Kingping’s adopted daughter and a regular high school in Daredevil stories. And perhaps that is why, the appearance of this new series has recently awakened a barrage of rumors about a reboot of Netflix’s Daredevil in the hands of Marvel Studios. Whether it is produced or not, Echo will arrive at Disney + “soon” and will be played by actress Alaqua Cox, whom we will meet very soon thanks to her future presence in the Hawkeye series, for which we do have a date: November 24, 2021.

We continue with Marvel Zombies, an animated series about which, although details have not been shared, everything seems to indicate that it will take the witness of What If …? (renewed this Dinsey + Day for a second season, by the way) and will show us our favorite MCU characters as the walking dead. Spider-Man: Freshman Year, is another animated series (Disney + strong bet) that will narrate the adventures of Peter Parker in high school and will act as a prequel to the current Tom Holland films, who is still unknown if he will lend his voice to the character.

Other animated series presented have been X-Men ’97, the first official content related to mutants by Marvel Studios, also confirming some of the voices of the original cast of the 90s, and the final logo of I Am Groot with a first look at Groot himself in his most youthful form; both will arrive “soon” on Disney +.

We move on to the highlights of Marvel Studios and their upcoming live action series, of which we have already seen their first trailers in teaser form. A) Yes, Moon Knight has shown a short video trailer in which Oscar Isaac transforms into the fearsome Moon Knight, whose abilities have been briefly revealed. Another series of which we have seen its first scenes has been She-Hulk, where the Hulk and a first look at the transformation of Jennifer Walters have also appeared. And new logo is confirmed.

The last look in the form of a teaser trailer has been for Ms. Marvel, the series by Bisha K. Ali starring Kamala Khan, played by the young actress Iman Vellani, a 16-year-old girl of Pakistani origin living in New Jersey and an absolute fan of Captain Marvel. With a childhood marked by the difficulties of fitting in, everything will change when Kamala achieves her superpowers.

We finished the Marvel review with the new logos of Ironheart and Secret Invasion. Thus, the first narrates the adventures of Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), a young prodigy who manages to make an armor in the purest Iron Man style. The second, based on the comics of the same name, introduces us again to Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn in their roles as Nick Fury and Talos. Taking advantage of the occasion, the first image of Samuel L. Jackson in the series has been presented.

Star Wars: all the limelight for Obi-Wan

On Star Wars, Disney + Day has focused all its attention on the next series Obi-Wan, starring Ewn McGregor again in his role as Master Kenobi after the prequel trilogy. With a story that takes place ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, the event has left us its official synopsis: “Being a Jedi is no longer safe. Now there are Jedi hunters out there, “Chow advances.” Obi-Wan has at least one task left, which is to keep Luke safe. That is the starting point of the story, although the interesting thing will be to see where it goes from there ”. The series is scheduled to premiere in 2022, on a date yet to be specified.

Finally, and as a final anecdote, the skin by Boba Fett for Fortnite, available in December, coinciding with the premiere of the series The Boba Fett Book the Star Wars.
