Amaia Salamanca Stuns in Atelier Pronovias Dress at Cannes Film Festival
Spanish actress Amaia Salamanca made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival’s red carpet with a stunning Atelier Pronovias dress on the fourth night of the festival. Salamanca’s Hollywood-inspired style paid homage to the great divas of the silver screen and showcased Spanish fashion at its finest.
The Atelier Pronovias dress was designed by Antonia Payeras and made from Italian crepe and red silk mikado. The skirt was intense black, with a mermaid cut and a two-meter, 40-centimeter-long train, while the strapless bodice featured asymmetrical sleeves and a neckline emphasized by organic draping.
The dress’s inner corset provided an impeccable fit, while the satin opera gloves added a touch of vintage glamour. The dress took around 60 hours of tailoring and an additional 30 hours for modeling, crafted in Atelier Pronovias’ artisan atelier in Barcelona.
Salamanca’s accessories were vintage High Jewelry pieces from Del Páramo Vintage. The white gold and pavé brilliant-cut diamond earrings were of Italian origin, made in the1980s, and featured over 14 carats of diamonds.
The Bienvenidos al Eden star has earned the reputation of being the queen of red carpets throughout her nearly 17-year career. She has a sophisticated sense of elegance and timeless taste when it comes to transferring trends to photocalls.
Salamanca, 37, is one of Spain’s most popular movie and television actresses, rising to fame for her role as Catalina in Sin tetas no hay paraíso. She accumulated leading roles in productions such as the Gran Hotel series and the film Brain Drain. Salamanca experienced a career turning point after becoming a mother.
