The defamation lawsuit that has been going on since April 11 in Virginia is estimated at $100 million. In video testimony released at the trial, Laurel Anderson gave some never-before-seen details about Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s relationship. “I know she initiated the fight on more than one occasion and triggered it to keep him with her because abandoning him and seeing him as her worst nightmare.”

As for Jonny Depp, the marriage counsellor believes that he was overwhelmed by the events: amber Heard’s actions would have provoked his violent reactions. “He had been controlling himself very well for 20 or 30 years … and it all happened with Mrs Heard. They engaged in what I consider to be mutual abuse,” says the doctor, who also notes the former couple’s difficulties in communicating.

Laurel Anderson also spoke about the past of the two actors who both experienced violence: “Ms Heard said that it was mostly a matter of pride for her if she did not feel respected, to initiate a fight. Her father had beaten and raped her, she wasn’t going to stop there. If Johnny Depp was about to leave, she would hit him to restrain him. She would rather fight than see him go. »

During the hearing, David Kipper also spoke at the bar. A renowned doctor in Beverly Hills, he was hired by Johnny Depp in May 2014 to treat his opioid addiction. After a cure on an island in the Bahamas, Johnny Depp had finally given up everything.
