Anec forecasts that Brazilian corn exports will reach 7.88 million tons in September

Brazil's corn exports should reach between 6.0 and 7.88 million tons in September, according to data from the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) published on Tuesday. 

Last week, the entity forecast that corn shipments would reach 6.31 million tons in the month. If the volume of 7.88 million tons is confirmed, corn exports would increase by 210% compared to the 2.54 million tons shipped in September 2021. 

As for soybeans, Anec estimates that 4.471 million tons will be exported in September, compared to the 3.916 million expected a week ago. 

For the export of soybean meal, a volume of 2,115 million tons is expected, compared to the 2,048 million expected the previous week.
