Anna Sawai was spotted leaving ABC studios today in New York after an interview on “Good Morning America.” The star of the FX drama series “Shōgun” discussed her Emmy nomination for her role as Toda Mariko in the show based on the 1975 novel by James Clavell.
The “F9” actress donned a striking pair of bright red Dolce & Gabbana Keira sandals. The strappy style featured shiny satin uppers, a thin but sturdy sandal construction, open toes, and adjustable gold buckle closures. Gold monogrammed touches adorned the heel of the sandals, and dainty bows enhanced the sweet and sophisticated silhouette. With 4.33-inch stiletto heels, Sawai’s footwear added a substantial boost to her frame.
Branded leather insoles rounded out the bright set, making the sandals instantly recognizable. Retailing for $895, the designer Keira style also comes in a neutral black color. Beyond the brand’s official website, the sandal can be purchased on third-party sites, both new and used.
Sandal heels are making a comeback this summer. The breezy silhouette is perfect for hot days, as the minimal strappy construction allows feet to breathe. Styles similar to Sawai’s can be found from brands like Amina Muaddi, Prada, Aquazzura, Alaia, Bottega Veneta, and The Attico.
Sawai complemented her footwear with a simplistic white dress featuring short rolled-up sleeves and a structured high neckline. She also carried a black glossy leather mini bag in a bowling bag style with short straps.
In terms of personal style, Sawai opts for footwear that’s simplistic but colorful, often with playful touches. For formal occasions, she prefers brands like Casadei and Jimmy Choo. On casual days, she turns to New Balance styles.
