The Arab Coalition announced this Sunday that it has killed more than 165 Houthi militias, backed by Iran, in the last 24 hours, near Marib, in Yemen, informs Al Arabiya. It has also claimed the destruction of ten militia vehicles.
On the other hand, the Coalition said it had attacked 41 vehicles and elements belonging to the Houthis in the last day in the Yemeni town of Abdiya and in the villages near Marib.
“The Houthi militias continue to terrorize civilians and prevent medical aid from entering Abdiya,” the Coalition denounced in a statement.
- Since 2015, the Yemeni population has lived under the incessant bombardment that the international coalition led by Saudi Arabia has directed against the Houthis, whom Riyadh considers Iranian-backed terrorists.
- The armed conflict in Yemen pits Houthi rebels against forces loyal to the president in exile, Abd Rabbuh Mansur al Hadi, supported by Saudi Arabia.
