Mexican actors Ariadne Díaz and Sebastián Rulli are taking on a new challenge in the form of the TV series Más allá de ti. Produced by Rosy Ocampo, this suspenseful crime drama follows Amy, a Latina ex-cop fighting for custody of her son, who discovers she can communicate with the dead. She uses this ability to convince a powerful politician to help her reopen the case of her son’s father, who is wrongly imprisoned. But as Amy and the politician fall in love, supernatural forces threaten their lives. The show premieres on May 26 on ViX.

Ana Bárbara Tour: ‘Bandidos Tour’

Grupera queen Ana Bárbara is embarking on a tour of 21 dates in the United States, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. The Bandidos Tour will cover 30 years of Ana Bárbara’s career, featuring hit songs like “Bandido”, “Lo busqué”, “La trapa”, and “Qué poca”. Zamora Group has shared the recipe for one of the favorite cocktails at Místico Miami, the restaurant owned by Gilberto Santa Rosa and Silvestre Dangond. The Papi Juancho cocktail features 1.5 oz of Contraluz Cristalino Mezcal, 1 oz of nixta elote liqueur, .5 oz of jalapeño syrup, 1 oz of lime juice, and 2 dashes of orange bitters. To make the cocktail, mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake well, and serve in a glass with ice. Add the dashes of orange bitters and garnish with two lime wedges with tajine for an extra kick.
