The first sound fiction based on Ubisoft’s star saga is now a reality. Assassin’s Creed: Gold is now available on Amazon Audible, an audio entertainment platform that houses audiobooks, podcasts and original products published under the American giant’s label. In this brand’s first foray into this format, listeners will follow the story of Aliyah Kahn, a professional gambler and con artist that he has not had much luck in life.
The woman manages to survive thanks to her cunning, which leads her to carry out numerous street scams. Yet one day it is discovered by the mysterious Gavin Banks, a character that most die-hard fans might recognize. From then on, Aliyah will undergo harsh training to become an assassin, so she will soon learn first-hand about the conflict with the Templars. Our protagonist will fight in an all-out war to prevent the Templars from hacking a new digital currency, which would allow them to control world finances.
This new independent adventure will bring us closer to characters like Isaac Newton, director of the Royal Mint. We will also investigate the intrahistory of the fraudster and forger William Chaloner, as well as that of Omar Khale, a blind murderer. Rose Galloway is in charge of training many of the order’s aspirants.

What do today’s world and 17th century England have in common?
Assassin’s Creed: Gold is written by Anthony Del Col, author of several comics in the series. According to the press release, this sound fiction “Also invites reflection”, since it establishes a parallel between the financial case of 17th century Great Britain, the time in which Newton lived, with contemporary economic uncertainty.
