A record rainfall in Tennessee, USA, caused massive flooding in rural areas that washed away homes, destroyed roads and They left at least 22 people dead and dozens missing, including children and the elderly, announced the authorities.
Saturday’s storm toppled trees, destroyed houses, and dumped cars into ditches, on top of sheds and other structures.
During Sunday, rescue teams have remained in search of the missing people amid the rubble. In addition, the Waverly Department of Public Safety has published on the official pages of social networks a list of residents of the neighborhoods most affected by the floods, whose whereabouts are still unknown.
