At least five killed in Ukrainian attack in Kherson region

The deputy head of Kherson’s military-civil Administration, Kiril Stremousov, said that for now, there are five dead, while seven people are missing as a result of the attack on the town west of the occupied city of Kherson.

According to the version of the local authorities appointed by Russia, the Ukrainian attack occurred at night and as a result warehouses with saltpeter exploded and a hospital, residential buildings and other urban infrastructure were damaged.

Stremousov said the attack was carried out with U.S. HIMARS high-precision missiles.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces reportedly launched missiles in six batches, three of which were repelled by air defense systems, according to this pro-Russian politician.

According to Ukraine’s version, the attack targeted a weapons depot and destroyed artillery systems and other material.

In addition, 50 soldiers were killed in the operation.

Stremousov stressed that there is no information about deaths among the military and that the coup occurred “almost in the center of the city.”
