Following the success of Persona 5 – and its Royal version – and the recent release of Shin Megami Tensei V for Nintendo Switch, Atlus is not planning to rest on its laurels. Without going any further, it has been Shinjiro Takada, the visible head of the Japanese company, who has defined the imminent year 2022 as “a challenge”, based on his desire to “launch a video game that becomes a mainstay” for the study. He has done it in an interview with EDGE, in which he assures that they are already working so that this project ends in something “interesting for the fans”

The long-lived Atlus franchise, which already exceeds 15 million games sold in total, is no more and no less than 25 years old, and the Japanese company has already made it clear that it wants celebrate it big: the calendar of activities will run until September 2022, so we have several months ahead in which we will attend “exciting announcements”.
