And the plane has plummeted and hit the ground. That fighter that promised to bring down its rivals is Battlefield 2042, which in the end crashed during a launch to forget. The video game developed by EA DICE has experienced problems of all kinds, errors ranging from bugs to content shortages. The reaction was as expected: a burst of destructive bullets that brought down the plane. In other words, user reviews on Steam have been dire.
Only 26% of the 35,000+ reviews on Steam are positive. Therefore, 74% of users who have been encouraged to express their opinions have done so in the opposite direction. “From a true Battlefield fan to the community, DO NOT BUY this game is 100% marketing, believe us, we bought it believing it was worth it, it isn’t … save your money, you’re welcome,” says one of them. “Graphically beautiful, but the gameplay is still a long way off. BF3, which is 10 years old, has things more compact and real than 2042, ”says another.

Two patches on the way
Aware of the errors, the developers have announced that they are already working on two updates, which will arrive over the next 30 days. The vehicle balancing, the resolution of loadouts eliminated and the problems when it comes to reviving colleagues are some of the objectives that the study sets itself to solve in the following patches.
Battlefield 2042 is available in PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S y PC. Subscribers to EA Play Pro have the opportunity to access the full version on PC. As planned, this new work focuses exclusively on multiplayer modes, so EA DICE has dispensed with the campaign, an element that had been present in all the most recent installments.
