Scientists disappointed with “Green Label” for nuclear power
German scientists who advised the EU Commission on the taxonomy regulation that has now been submitted are shocked. Professor Andreas Hoepner, an expert in sustainable finance, as one of 57 members of the “Platform for Sustainable Finance”, describes the EU Commission’s proposal as “probably the biggest greenwash of all time”. Sebastian Rink from the Frankfurt School of Finance, considers the template to be watered down, making the entire taxonomy implausible. On New Year’s Eve, the EU Commission presented its proposal for a regulation that classifies nuclear power and natural gas as “sustainable”.

According to official information, there are currently 3,000 to 4,000 investigations into falsification of vaccination certificates in Germany. The need for PCs in the corona pandemic is still not exhausted. In 2021, according to calculations by market researchers, sales rose to their highest level in around a decade. The market was further slowed down by the shortage of chips and other components. Three major IT market researchers who presented their estimates on Thursday night largely came to the same trends. The market researchers agreed on the distribution of the top positions in the ranking of large PC suppliers. They clearly see the Chinese company Lenovo in first place and assume that around every fourth PC sold worldwide came from it last year.
Further use of the Luca app open
The future of the Luca app for tracking contacts in the corona pandemic is still open in almost all federal states with a Luca license. While Schleswig-Holstein has already decided to terminate the contract with the private operator, twelve countries are only checking this, according to a survey by the German Press Agency. Three states do not have a contract: North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony and Thuringia, but individual health authorities also use the app there.
