The building IoT will take place for the seventh time on May 10th and 11th. After the online edition 2021, the organizers are planning heise Developer, iX and dpunkt.verlag this year a conference on site at the IHK Haus der Wirtschaft in Karlsruhe. The two conference days will be preceded by a workshop day on May 9th. the building IoT 2022 is aimed at IT professionals who create applications and products for the Internet of Things.
From automation to ML to the edge
After the weekend holidays in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg also ended, the organizers have the Call for Proposals extended by one week, which will run until January 17th. We are looking for lectures with a length of 45 minutes and full-day workshops. Possible topics include:
- Industrial IoT
- Edge and fog computing
- Machine Learning
- Protocols and Standards
- Automation technology
- Security und Safety
- Testing of IoT platforms
- Data protection and legal aspects

The event will take place under the corona protective measures of the state of Baden-Württemberg in force in May 2022.
