Inter issued a statement stating that the footballer “will follow a recovery program proposed by Danish doctors who will coordinate all clinical follow-up.”

From the Italian Football Federation they expressed their doubts about whether Eriksen should play soccer again. A member of the scientific committee of this organization, Francesco Braconaro, advanced that “Eriksen cannot yet be cleared to play in Italy. If the defibrillator is removed, confirming that the pathology can be resolved, then he will be able to play for Inter again, “he said.

The 29-year-old captain of the Danish national team fainted when he was about to control a ball on the left side of Denmark’s attack during the first day of the Eurocup group stage, against Finland.

A Eriksen they did not find any pathology in all the studies they did. According to the doctors who treat him, his heart is healthy and no one understands why it failed. At least, there is no pre-existing disease that has caused the cardiorespiratory arrest.

The Milanese club signed Turkish Hakan Calhanoglu, who was free after the expiration of his contract with Milan, to replace Eriksen.
