Call of Duty: Warzone continues to be one of the most popular games of the moment. Activision’s battle royale has millions of active players and recently entered its sixth season. Weapons, skins, game modes … There are many new features that the title gradually adds. For this reason, taking advantage of the fact that we are in the equator of October, the studio has unveiled the first teaser of The Haunting, the event with which we can celebrate Halloween in a matter of days.
The Haunting event in Call of Duty: Warzone, when is it?
Even though Halloween is the last day of the month, the event will start next Tuesday, October 19. At the moment, the official channels of the title have not confirmed the start time. If we are guided by other important updates, they usually take place at 06:00 (CEST).
Cheaters of the game, against the ropes
Activision has practically since the title arrived fighting to expel any user who cheats and corrupts the games. During the last months there have been several rounds of massive bans that have ended with hundreds of thousands of accounts eliminated, and it seems that the final stretch of 2021 will be key to putting an end to this annoying problem: the company has presented a new anti-cheat system called Ricochet, designed for both Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard. Thanks to technology based on machine learning, it will be possible to identify any player running external applications with the intention of modifying the game.
