2K has shown the covers of NBA 2K22, the next installment of the basketball sports franchise. The protagonists of the covers are Luka Dončić, a two-time NBA All-Star (Standard Edition and Digital Multi-Generation Pack), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki Y Kevin Durant (NBA 75th Anniversary Edition). They are all outstanding players who represent the best values of this sport.
Along with the covers have been presented the different editions that NBA 2K22 will have, which will be available on September 10, 2021 and are already available for reservation. With the best visual presentation and artificial intelligence, historical equipment and a wide variety of experiences, NBA 2K22 is a good choice if you want to immerse yourself in the NBA universe.
NBA 2K22 has presented three editions (with their respective personalized covers): Standard Edition, Multi-Generation Digital Pack and 75th Anniversary Edition of the NBA.
- Standard EditionAvailable for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC for € 69.99 and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S for € 74.99. The Standard Edition includes the game and will only be in physical format for consoles.
- Multi-Generation Digital Pack: Available only in digital format for € 84.99. It offers access to the video game in old and new generation of consoles.
- NBA 75th Anniversary Edition– Available in physical and digital formats for € 99.99 on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One and Series X / S. As for PC and Nintendo Switch, it will only be available digitally.
The 75th anniversary edition pays tribute to three of the iconic players in NBA history:
- Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hall of Famer, six-time NBA champion, six-time MVP, and all-time NBA scoring leader. Also, he is famous for his social activism.
- Dirk Nowitzki, 14 times All-Star, NBA champion and MVP. He is seen as a precursor to the evolution of the sport and as the archetype of the tall man shooter.
- Kevin Durant, 11-time All-Star, league MVP and two-time NBA champion. He appears for the third time on an NBA 2K cover.
