In order to speed up the immunization process against the COVID-19, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) implemented the strategy called Vaccination, which is aimed at people from 45 to 49 years old, as well as finishing applying the necessary doses to those over 50 who for some reason have not yet received their vaccine.
Although, three days of application of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus vaccine have been scheduled for 36 hours in a row, there are still two more, because so far the first one has been carried out to citizens between 47 and 49 years old, where 110 thousand doses were applied.

The group that people who have 45 and 46 years old will be immunized in the Second Vaccination that will take place from Saturday, July 17 at 7:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 18 at 7:00 p.m.
In addition to these people with that age range, those who are lagging behind the first dose, people awaiting the second dose, as well as people from other groups who have not been vaccinated: over 50 years, older adults, pregnant women, people with comorbidities, and with rare and orphan diseases.
