Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed space western about three bounty hunters – the so-called cowboys – who want to forget their past. As different as they are lethal, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir) and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a feisty and scathing crew ready to hunt down the most dangerous criminals in the solar system, as long as they get paid well. But, even if they get rid of many skirmishes based on smacks and witticisms, in the end they have to face their past.
Based on the famous anime Cowboy Bebop, is executive produced by André Nemec (Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol), Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg (Midnight Radio), Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements (Tomorrow Studios), Makoto Asanuma, Shin Sasaki and Masayuki Ozaki ( Sunrise Inc.), Tim Coddington, Tetsu Fujimura, Michael Katleman, Matthew Weinberg, and Christopher Yost (Thor: Ragnarok). Nemec is also the showrunner. The director of the original anime Shinichirō Watanabe is an advisor to the series, and the original songwriter Yoko Kanno has put music to this adaptation with real actors. Alex Hassell and Elena Satine co-star in the series.
All 10 episodes of the first season have been directed by Alex Garcia Lopez (The Witcher) y Michael Katleman (The Last Ship), cinco cada uno. Cowboy Bebop premieres on Netflix on November 19, 2021.
