Crude oil futures rose during the US session

Crude oil futures were higher during the US session on Monday.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil futures for October delivery were trading at US$88.88 a barrel. At the time of writing this report they are up 2.31%.

It reached an early session high for dollars a barrel. Crude is likely to find support at 85.98 and resistance at 92.73.

Dollar Index Futures, which reports the performance of the US dollar against a group of six other major currencies, fell 0.26% to trade at $109.79.

On the other hand, at ICE, or delivery in November rose 2.33% to trade at 95.19 dollars a barrel while the spread between the contracts for and remain above 6.31 dollars a barrel.
