Dave Grohl Is Unrecognizable in Navy Suit and Sleek Ponytail at Wimbledon

Dave Grohl’s fashion game has serious range. One day he’s rocking out in high-top Vans and denim, and the next he’s floating in Dolce & Gabbana loafers and a crisp navy blue suit.

The Foo Fighters frontman, 55, looked almost unrecognizable as he and his wife, Jordyn Blum, 43, got dressed to the nines on Tuesday to attend day 2 of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, England.

Blum’s no stranger to turning heads with her fashion statements. She looked elegant in a baby blue coat over a buttoned-up flowy dress. Meanwhile, the rock star looked more like a Fortune 500 CEO in a navy blue suit, white dress shirt, and gold-patterned tie. He also rocked Ray-Ban shades. But instead of letting his long locks fly with the wind, he tied them in a sleek ponytail.

The couple – who got married in August 2003 and share three daughters, Violet, Harper, and Ophelia – then took their seats at the iconic tennis stadium to enjoy the major tennis tournament.

Grohl’s appearance at Wimbledon comes less than two weeks after he raised eyebrows – much to the chagrin of Swifties – when he seemingly took a dig at Taylor Swift. During his band’s June 22 show at London Stadium, Grohl insinuated that Swift, who was performing across town at Wembley Stadium for night two of her three-day Eras Tour stop, does not play live during her shows.

Addressing the crowd, Grohl referenced the other big concert in the U.K. city and seemingly shaded the 34-year-old “You Need to Calm Down” singer, saying, “I tell you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.”

“So we like to call our tour the ‘Errors Tour.’ We’ve had more than a few eras and more than a few f**king errors as well. Just a couple,” the singer told the audience. “That’s because we actually play live. What? Just saying. You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right f**king place.”

Less than 24 hours after that statement, the Midnights singer seemingly clapped back while thanking the packed crowd following a standing ovation.

“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band – who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight – they deserve this so much. And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it,” Swift said in videos posted online.

While she did not directly name Grohl, fans were quick to connect the “playing live” remark to the Foo Fighters band member’s comments.

What was interesting about all of this is that Grohl’s bandmate, Pat Smear, was among the star-studded guests during night 1 of Swift’s Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium.
