During the State of Play held on the night of July 8, it was confirmed Death Stranding: Director’s Cut release date, coming to PS5 on September 24. During the trailer that has been shown we have also been able to see several of the novelties that this version announced just a few weeks ago will incorporate.
What’s New in Death Stranding: Director’s Cut
The trailer, which you can see below, begins by stating that Death Stranding Director’s Cut is a remastered version for PS5, so we can expect an improvement in graphic and visual performance, although no specific data has been confirmed in this regard. In addition, it will incorporate various content that has also been shown in the video.
Death Stranding Director’s Cut will feature new story missions, new boss battles, an improved combat system, new weapons (and a training area where you can test them), new transport gadgets, construction tools (including a ramp to jump with the motorcycle) and the possibility of creating our own own race circuits, which it seems that we can share with the rest of the players online.
For the moment, Death Stranding Director’s Cut Release Looks PS5 Exclusive, since nothing has been commented on a version for PS4 or the possibility of seeing it on PC. Hideo Kojima was in charge of teaching for the first time this new version of the game a few weeks ago with a trailer in the purest Metal Gear Solid style.
Sony also confirmed the existence of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut for PS5 recently.
