Demon’s Souls Remake landed in stores the same day that PS5, console to which it arrived exclusively. Practically a year since then, we already know how much the title has sold: more than 1.4 million copies. The numbers seem positive, since they far exceed the pace that the original game released for PS3 in 2009 maintained. Demon’s Souls Remake: a very special return
The first major project of Hidetaka Miyazaki, which served to lay the foundations for the phenomenon that would later star in Dark Souls, arrived exclusively on PS3 in 2009. Although it was not as popular as the following installments in the franchise, the demanding action RPG began to create a veritable legion of followers around it. In November of last year, Bluepoint Games was the studio chosen to offer a renewed version of it and accompany the PS5 during its launch.

In our analysis, the game scored 9.5 out of 10. Here are our conclusions: “Bluepoint Games and Sony Japan have made Demon’s Souls a tribute to the figure of From Software, its legacy and its successes in the past decade. The origin of the myth returns wearing a semblance of authentic new generation. Never before have we enjoyed a work directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki with this audiovisual level. The novelties of PS5 go beyond the screen: the haptic feedback of the DualSense, the 3D Tempest sound and the 60 fps of the Performance Mode make you feel Boletaria in an unbeatable way ”.
Demon’s Souls Remake is found available on PS5. Among its main novelties with respect to the original title, the possibility of playing online with friends by invitation stands out, as well as new animations, visual effects and, of course, a new generation technical section.
