Di María will be out until early November with a hamstring injury

Argentine winger Angel Di Maria will be out until early November, Italian soccer Serie A club Juventus (BIT: JUVE ) said on Thursday, detailing that he suffered a low-grade hamstring injury.

Di Maria was injured in Tuesday’s 2-0 Champions League defeat against Maccabi Haifa and the 34-year-old underwent diagnostic tests on Thursday.

“Ángel Di María underwent diagnostic tests … this morning, which revealed a low-grade hamstring injury to his right thigh,” Juventus said in a statement. “The full recovery of the player will take about 20 days.”

Di Maria is expected to be part of Argentina’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar, which starts on November 20.

Argentina is in Group C and begins its campaign against Saudi Arabia on November 22. Mexico and Poland are the other teams in their group.
