Diego El Cigala brings ‘Obras Maestras’ tour to United States and Canada

Diego El Cigala is set to embark on an extensive concert tour, Obras Maestras, which will take him across various cities in the United States and Canada. The tour, produced by Miami-based entertainment outfit, Laud and Live, will begin with a performance in El Paso, Texas, on September 13, and will conclude on October 15 in Washington, DC.

Throughout the month of September, El Cigala will make stops in other cities like Denver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas and Miami, while October will see him grace the stages of Orlando, Charlotte, Montreal, Toronto, Boston, New York and Washington.

El Cigala is an internationally renowned flamenco singer who is set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his album, Lágrimas negras, which he recorded with the legendary Cuban pianist, Bebo Valdés. The album became a milestone in international music, winning two GRAMMY® Award nominations, the BBC World Music Award and other accolades.

During his tour, El Cigala will perform some of his most iconic songs, including Corazón loco, Historia de un amor and Dos gardenias, which have attained masterpiece status in his voice. Nelson Albareda, CEO of Loud And Live, described the artist as a living legend, while Omer Pardillo, vice president of the production company noted his accessibility.

With a career spanning over 30 years, El Cigala has won six Latin GRAMMY®s to date. His tours have taken him to over 30 countries across five continents and he has collaborated with superstar artists such as Alicia Keys, Ricky Martin and Rosario, among others.
