The most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy, Boba Fett, reappeared in The Mandalorian and now the premiere date for his own series has been confirmed.

The Book of Boba Fett is the series that continues the adventures of the most dangerous bounty hunter in the galaxy. Disney+ is the platform where we can enjoy the alternatives in the life of this character who knew how to fascinate fans of Star Wars Ever since his first appearance in the original franchise trilogy when he hunted down the most beloved smuggler of all: Han Solo.

So, the last the fandom of this beloved saga knew of the character was that the Sarlacc Pitt Monster devoured him in The Return of the Jedi. It wasn’t until the second season of The Mandalorian we learned that the original clone of Jango Fett he had survived that circumstance, which for anyone else would have been final. Now it is the galaxy’s turn to recognize this warrior again.

Boba Fett will continue his way through the galaxy

The new series picks up right where it left off The Mandalorian: with the legendary Boba Fett and the mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the criminal side of the galaxy back to the sands of Tatooine, to claim their right to the territory that used to be the absolute property of the villain Jabba el Hutt and his crime syndicate. A new criminal leader shows his figure in The Book of Boba Fett.

The protagonists of the show are Temuera Morrison and Ming Na Wen with the address of Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard y Robert Rodriguez, each of them in an episode of the first season. There is a lot of expectation regarding this new entry into the universe of Star Wars, taking into account the quality of work that many of these names demonstrated in the history of Mando and Grogu.

Disney+ announced today that The Book of Boba Fett will be released Wednesday, December 29, exclusively on that streaming platform. The first images of the new series of Lucasfilm were seen in a trailer during a surprise sequence in the ending credits of the last episode of the second season of The Mandalorian.
