Former US President Donald Trump filed a request for an injunction against Twitter before a court in the state of Florida, requesting that he force the company to reactivate his account, reported Bloomberg.

The ex-president’s request was submitted at the last minute in Miami on Friday, alleging that the microblogging service terminated his account under pressure from his political rivals.

In July, Trump sued Google’s Twitter, Facebook and Alphabet Inc. and their CEOs claiming they illegally silenced conservative positions.

Twitter and other social networks closed the profiles of the former Republican president in January, two days after a group of his followers stormed the Capitol building to avoid confirmation of Joe Biden’s victory by Congress.
