Goku and company never enjoy a truce. If there is no villain who wants to destroy the world or conquer the universe, there is a martial arts tournament or training so as not to lose fighting abilities. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the RPG from Bandai Namco and CyberConnect 2, tells all that story, but now it will do so on Nintendo Switch as well. The title has been shown in a new trailer in Japanese, which focuses specifically on battles.
In the video, we see Gotenks at his peak, transformed into Super Saiyan 3. The fusion between little Gohan and Trunks makes them admirable adversaries, even for enemies like Dabra, the king of demons. This is one of the novelties of the Nintendo Switch version, just like the ability to control Vegito. It doesn’t seem like Frieza is a worthy match for so much power, but in the trailer they face him.
Without all the downloadable content
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot won’t come with all Season Pass DLCs, but it will include The awakening of a new Power, which will allow us to fight against the very God of Destruction, Beerus. This Dragon Ball Super character, who appeared from the first episodes of the new manganime, accumulates impressive power, much more than all the villains that had appeared in the series before (as good shonen, of course).
This production reviews the entire history of Dragon Ball Z, since the arrival of the Saiyans. After the fight against Raditz, Vegeta and Nappa another threat looms over the world, that of the mighty Freeza. And then, even more so, the Androids, Cell and the Monster Bu.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and the Awakening of a New Power will debut on Nintendo Switch next 24th September. It is also available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
