Elden Ring will be released in three months: its premiere will take place on February 25 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One. As you well know, the new action RPG adventure and open world of From Software (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) has become one of the most anticipated games of 2022. Bandai Namco is also aware of this, and far from trying to avoid the pressure that is generated when expectations grow, it has shown his ambition through a question and answer session in Japan. Without going further, its predictions are to sell 4 million copies at the end of the fiscal year (March), and that means that the aspirations point to the month of its launch.
One of the reasons why the Japanese predict large numbers for the title is the perception of the environment around them. They even mention how striking it is that it has won several awards before even reaching the market, as well as the stream of positive opinions it has received from both the press and the players themselves who have accessed the beta.
Elden Ring: we have already tried it
In our impressions after playing the beta for several hours, there were not a few aspects that we highlighted based on our experience: the freedom of action to explore a large world, the diversity of enemies and bosses, the ability to customize to the millimeter the different character classes… There is a lot to see in the Elden Ring. We make it clear in our conclusions: “the first step has been taken on the right foot. Now we have to wait a little longer for the following”.
Elden Ring will go on sale next February 25 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One. Time will tell if you can achieve the success that Bandai Namco expects.
