Blanca Sainz, the eldest daughter of Carlos Sainz and Reyes Vázquez de Castro, has tied the knot with Guillermo Comenge on June 9 in a wedding ceremony held in the church of Santiago Apóstol in the town of Cebreros (Ávila). The celebration was attended by nearly 250 guests who witnessed the couple exchange their vows.
Blanca made her triumphant entrance to the church on the arm of her father, wearing a classic boat-neck dress with a tulle bodice effect in the upper part. The bride’s hair was styled in a low bun, revealing a pair of considerable falling earrings. The large train of Blanca’s dress was one of the highlights of her fabulous bridal design.
Before the ceremony began, there was an emotional moment as Blanca and her father took a walk around the church. Carlos Sainz was proud to see his eldest daughter enjoy what promises to be the happiest day of her life.
Guillermo Comenge arrived earlier at the church with his mother, who was very supportive of her son throughout the event. Carlos Sainz Jr., the brother of the bride, and his mother Reyes Vázquez de Castro were also present on this important day. Carlos was able to attend the wedding since the Formula 1 competition is on hiatus this weekend.
Ana Sainz and Rodrigo Fontcuberta, who passed through the same altar in February, were also among the guests. Blanca’s sister wore a beautiful gold design with fringe details and small openings combined with orange sandals with flowers and a metallic shawl.
Carla Royo-Villanova, the princess of Panaguiúrishte, was also present at the wedding and wore a colorful patchwork-style dress with golden platform sandals.
The ceremony took place in the church of Santiago Apóstol, which is an Asset of Cultural Interest. It dates from the 16th century and has one of the most valuable altarpieces made of pine and gold leaf. Once the liturgy was over, the bride and groom and all their guests headed to La Piñonera, the Sainz farm, located a few kilometers away.
Blanca has always stayed in the background, supporting her family but giving them all the leading role. She holds the position of General Manager at David Lloyd Serrano’s premium gym and shares her family’s passion for sports. Before immersing herself in the world of work, she studied at the prestigious British Council and studied Business Administration at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.
