Solo: A Star Wars Story star Emilia Clarke has revealed that she has a lot of ideas on how her character’s story might continue in the franchise.
Qi’ra, played by Emilia Clarke in Solo, recently returned to the pages of Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters from Marvel Comics. Set before the events of Return of the Jedi, the comic confirms that she survived her working relationship with Darth Maul, but does not answer a question from fans about what happened to her after the events of Han Solo: A Star Story. Wars.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actress Emilia Clarke was asked if it could have been Qi’ra who tipped off Enfys Nest about the train robbery in which Han (Alden Ehrenreich) and Beckett (Woody Harrelson) were involved in a attempt to escape the control of Dryden Voss. Of course, that didn’t put her in a good place with Maul, however, she managed to go from being a subordinate to reporting directly to the head of the Crimson Dawn.
Emilia Clarke liked that idea, but has Qi’ra thought very differently during the 2018 movie.
“I wrote pages about Qi’ra, Qi’ra behind the scenes, and all the other things that were happening. But I think only when he sees Han does he realize that there is a way out, what he was playing. “ explains the actress. “That is definitely where I was. I don’t think she felt strong enough at the time to go ahead and escape Dryden’s grip. I think Han is the slap that made her go. ”(Gasps) I was a whole person. I was this other thing. Where have the last 3 years gone? So it was that kind of thing, but I think your theory is very good. ( Laughs .)”.
As for whether she would like to see Qi’ra’s story continue to tell her story in the franchise, Clarke added: “He really had pages about what his life was like and what it would be like afterward. I’m afraid I haven’t heard anything about you [Disney +] be the case. , so maybe I’ll write it down and send it to you. I’ll say, ‘Hey guys, I have some ideas.’.
When told that there was still room to expand on the character’s story, the actress agreed and told the interviewer: “She is the one with the most unfinished business”.
Do you think we could see more of Qi’ra in a future Star Wars movie or TV series?
