Arsenal Football Club and Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, have announced a new sponsorship deal that extends their partnership until 2028. This agreement, which is the largest ever signed by the club and one of the biggest in football, grants Emirates a 5-year extension to their shirt partnership with Arsenal until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
The new sponsorship agreement strengthens one of the most recognizable and respected partnerships in sport. Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis and Emirates President Sir Tim Clark finalized the agreement, demonstrating the mutual commitment and belief in the club’s approach and ambition.
Emirates will continue to be the shirt sponsor of Arsenal, with their branding appearing on the playing and training kits of all Arsenal teams for at least 18 years. In addition, Emirates will provide access to their award-winning planes for Arsenal to use on pre-season tours. The airline will also retain marketing rights to develop campaigns and initiatives around the world.
Arsenal’s home ground, Emirates Stadium, will retain its name until 2028 as part of the extension agreed upon in 2012. The partnership between Emirates and Arsenal began in the 2006/2007 season and has since grown into a strong and successful collaboration.
Emirates President Sir Tim Clark expressed his pride in the partnership, stating that Arsenal’s appeal and influence around the globe, combined with their ambitions as a club, make them an ideal partner for Emirates. He emphasized the shared values between the two brands and their commitment to supporting sports worldwide.
This extended partnership between Emirates and Arsenal further solidifies their position as global leaders in their respective industries. With their shared vision and dedication to success, both organizations are poised to continue their legacy of excellence on and off the field.
