Good news for fans of the Wildcats! Disney+ has renewed the original series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series for a third season and his fans can no longer wait. And it is that its first two parts -also available on the streaming platform- were the perfect combination between catchy songs and a talented cast, resulting in great success for the Mickey Mouse company.
What will be the plot of this new part? Something similar to what happens in High School Musical 2 it will happen with this new generation. The students of East High they will drop out of high school to spend the summer in a camp where they will enjoy their rest, the bonfires, new loves and freedom. This time, the fiction will leave Salt Lake City to move to The Angels and start filming at end of this year.

A change to the filming location can be significant for any series. However, here is something crucial: the premise of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is 100% linked to your location. In the first season, the story takes as its starting point the theater club members from the school where the original movie was shot. All of them are preparing to present a musical based on the saga of Troy and Gabriella. In the second part, they repeat the tour but with the work of Beauty and the Beast.
It is still unknown whether the series of Disney+ will have big changes in its cast. Although many of the actors shared the news with joy and celebrated the return of HSMTMTS, the truth is that its protagonist Olivia Rodrigo –that was recently showcased in the MTV VMAs and the with Gala– did not express himself regarding his participation in the third season.
