After the stellar show that Fast & Furious 9 left us, fans are sure to be eager to see the next madness of Toretto and his family. Fast & Furious 10 was originally scheduled for 2021, but was delayed at the same time as its predecessor. Now, Entertainment Weekly has reported that the tenth installment of the franchise will be released in April 2023. This represents a two-year wait due (in large part) to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We know that Fast & Furious 10 will be the first part of an ending that is divided into two films along with Fast & Furious 11. These two films should mark the end of the franchise, at least from its main plot. We remind you that Vin Diesel himself is already clear about what his last scene will be like.
Regarding the cast, we know for sure that Dwayne Johnson will not participate in the last two films. Of course, Justin Lin, stalwart of the series, will once again occupy the director’s chair.
So Fast & Furious will end with movies 10 and 11? We doubt it. While this is happening, it is reported that A 2019 Hobbs & Shaw sequel is in development, which could help fill the gap we have between Fast & Furious 9 and 10. Also a spin-off starring Charlize Theron is being prepared.
If you haven’t seen Fast & Furious 9 yet, it’s available now. The April 7, 2023If there are no delays or other problems, we will see the beginning of the end of the Fast & Furious saga.
