“Fast X” Roars into Theaters, Ready to Rule the Box Office
The tenth installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise, “Fast X,” hits theaters in the United States this weekend, starring Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodríguez. Directed by Louis Leterrier, the film follows street car racer Dominic Toretto (played by Diesel) as he must face off against his toughest villain yet, Dante (played by Jason Momoa), who threatens the lives of his loved ones. The entire “Fast” family comes together to help Toretto in a film full of explosions, races, and action.
“Fast X” dominates the box office, but other films are also making their debut in the US. Horror film “Moon Garden” by Ryan Stevens Harris, suspenseful “Master Gardener” by Paul Schrader, and Francisca Alegria’s 2022 Sundance-released film “The Cow Who Sang a Song Into the Future.”

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” directed by James Gunn, is third on the list of the highest grossing films of the year. According to Box Office Mojo, the superhero film starring Chris Pratt has already grossed more than $226 million domestically and over $542 million internationally since its release on May 5. However, the animated film “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” holds the title of the highest grossing film of the year with a global total of $1.2 billion.
“Fast X” has already debuted in twelve international box offices, grossing $32.9 million as of May 18. It’s predicted to make $280 million in its first weekend of release worldwide. Get ready for a wild ride with “Fast X”!
