FIFA 15 will close its multiplayer services in September

FIFA 15 will close its servers next September 15, 2021. The second installment of the saga in the last generation will say goodbye to all the functions that require an internet connection, including the Ultimate Team side. The same day it will take effect on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

This decision follows the trend seen in recent months. On May 6, four deliveries disappeared from the playlist in EA Play, the subscription service of the American publisher. Specifically, the elimination monopolized from this FIFA 15 to FIFA 18.

From the official website of Electronic Arts we can see the history of disconnections. It is not something frequent. To see the termination of FIFA 14 and its Ultimate Team functions we have to go to October 18, 2017; four years later its sequel has followed suit. In fact, right now FIFA 15 is the only one scheduled to receive changes in the second half of 2021.

As we said at the beginning, FIFA 15 It was the second new generation installment at the time when PS4 and Xbox One were rigorously current. “This new installment expands, readjusts and perfects modes and particularities of handling, but it does not go as far as it could running in new machines and it is appreciated that EA Sports continues to save letters for the successive ones, such as truly revolutionary improvements in the goalkeepers, plus Selections that are missing or an AI is not always realistic for medium teams ”, we said in our analysis, where it obtained a rating of 8.4 out of 10.

“That said, it does seem to us that we are facing a simulation and fun above last year”, we concluded. By clicking here you can read the text.
