Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach has not missed the State of Play this October 27. The Steel Wool Studios title has reappeared at the Sony event with a new gameplay trailer to advertise your release date on PS4 and PS5: the December 16. The new installment of the already veteran first-person survival horror series will be one of the last to arrive before the end of this year 2022. Mega Pizzaplex is waiting for us.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach heads to PS4 and PS5 this December 16
The title will put us in the skin of Gregory a young man who has been locked inside the Mega Pizzaplex by Freddy Fazbear. It’s time to grab the males, since as soon as Pizzaplex closes it, we will have no choice but to try to survive while we look for a way to escape. This is what awaits us at Security Breach.
Stealth, speed and resistance management in Mega Pizzaplex
As explained by Ray McCaffrey, Executive Product of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, this installment will emphasize the stealth and speed mechanics. “The animatronics Roxy, Chica and Monty have joined the ranks of Pizzaplex security to hunt you down and they will never tire of chasing you,” he says. “Having a strategy to outmaneuver your enemies is crucial if you don’t want them to actively pursue you.”
If we are detected, we will have only one alternative: to run away to escape these imminent dangers; although we can only do it if we have resistance. “Animatronics will evolve as the night progresses, so you will have to adapt if you want to survive.”
Freddy Fazbear, a guide as an accessibility option
Freddy Fazbear will be our ally in our adventure through the Pizzaplex; an accessibility option that we can use if we find ourselves in a hurry. For example, to give us advice, direct us to shortcuts, or alert us to impending challenges. He is a guide and protector. The energy of this character is limited and we will have to recharge it in charging stations.
Finally, the security cameras. We can access them through the Fazwatch, a smart watch with which to manage the route during our getaway trip from Pizzaplex, which “is huge.” To kill the enemies we will have several stun weapons: the do cam and the Fazblaster. The first stuns all enemies and renders them useless for a limited time; the second has unlimited ammunition, but will have to aim directly for the head.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach It will be released on December 16 on PS4, PS5 and PC.
