Free Fire the popular battle royale from the Singapore-based company, Garena (available completely free in its free to play mode, on iOS and Android devices), announced a new character, Nairi, which was conceived and developed in Mexico, as well as Otho, the avatar that was released on the occasion of day of the Dead.

Origin of the new character

Nairi is a young student of Mexican-American descent who made a good friendship with Otho. He grew up in a region inspired by La Rosilla, within the Mexican state of Durango. Following the disappearance of her parents, Nairi vowed to search for them as her avid passion for storms and cold grew over time.

This new character came with a special ability of his own, Ice Iron. Once launched, the Gloo walls, you will be able to recover 20% of the current durability every second. However, the damage is increased by 20% when using AR on Gloo walls.

Nairi was available this Sunday, December 25, for free to all players who logged into Free Fire or Free Fire Max.

Along with it came other aspects inspired by the end of the year parties and these were also made by the Mexican development team. Here you can see some of them.
