Fans of the British television show Gangs of London are eagerly awaiting the release of Gangs Of London Season 3. The Pulse Films & Sister production follows the conflict between competing gangs and other criminal organizations in modern-day London. On April 23, 2020, Sky Atlantic in the UK began airing the first season.
The series was produced by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery, and it is loosely based on the 2006 computer game of the same name.
They are well known for the action-crime flick The Raid. In June 2020, it was revealed that a second season would be coming, with AMC co-producing and assuming US broadcast rights.
The second season debuted on October 20, 2022, in the UK and Germany and on November 17, 2022, in the US. In November 2022, a third series was announced.
What Would Be The Plot For Gangs Of London Season 3?
Sean and Elliot had significant adjustments as a result of the Gangs of London season two finale. When the latter’s father passed away, he exacted revenge on all parties involved. Koba died as a result, and Billy Wallace was brutally injured.
He served as a pawn in his vendetta against Sean, who gave the order to kill his father. While Sean was imprisoned for killing Koba, Elliot rose through the ranks and took over as the new king of the London underworld.
The Dumanis were standing by his side when it arrived. Gangs Of London Season 3 will go into this bright new world with Elliot as boss, with the investors now rendered helpless by Sean’s attack before his imprisonment. Nobody is certain how that new regime will operate now that an ex-undercover police officer is in charge.
He won’t reign without opposition is one thing that will never change. Sean might be incarcerated, but if he can survive death, there is no way he won’t survive this.
Billy will be by his side as well, so he won’t have to wait long to take back the top position. There will be added stress in Billy and Sean’s life because of the strained relationship they have with their mother.
Neither one will be inclined to pardon her after her betrayal of Sean resulted in Billy’s imprisonment. The unexpected news that Lale was still alive was also revealed at the end of the season.
When we last saw the Kurdish leader, she was handing back her beloved Sean after killing and fighting her way out of Mr. Afridi’s confinement. Afridi spared Lale’s life, though, and the two have since developed some sort of alliance.
Knowing what is said about a woman scorned, Sean had better watch his back. Expect the emphasis on the diversity of the titular locale to remain in season three, no matter what happens.
The Cast Of Gangs Of London Season 3
Gangs of London Season 3 has not yet announced its new cast. The third season’s cast will include both returning characters from the first two seasons as well as some new ones that the creators may introduce in the forthcoming story. Sean Wallace, who played Joe Cole, just made a comeback.
So, we don’t think he’ll be moving anytime soon in Gangs Of London Season 3. He naturally attracts opposition, even from those who are imprisoned. The rivalry between Sean and Elliot is perhaps the best one to end season two.
If they continue where they left off, as we would anticipate, Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù will almost certainly play Elliot again.
Elliot has formed ties with the Dumanis and taken on a new position on the streets of London. The return of Lucian Msamati as Ed Dumani and Pippa Bennett-Warner as Shannon, respectively, is all but guaranteed thanks to this arrangement in Gangs Of London Season 3.
The enforcer for Afridi, Koba, and Floriana of Arta Dobroshi was among those who perished in the street battles.
Koba died from eating a tainted chip shop patty after stepping on too many incorrect shoes. Alex Dumani, played by Paapa Essiedu, didn’t even make it through episode one.
In a tragic turn of events, Alex committed suicide because he thought he would never be freed from the Investors’ control.
When Will Gangs Of London Season 3 Be Released?
Gangs Of London Season 3 dominoes are ready to fall; all we need is someone to do it. Sky took its own time assembling sufficient proof that approving Gangs Of London Season 3 would be a wise move. Although we had to wait for official confirmation, we were aware that there would undoubtedly be a second season.
There are a few cliffhangers that require resolution. Corin Hardy expressed his ambitions for season three, saying that while they are fortunate to be able to do so, the success of the show ultimately depends on how well it is accepted. What about the anticipated release date for it on screens? That’s a different tale, though.
After the first season, it took two years for Gangs of London season two to be released. The big production and cinematic caliber undoubtedly contributed greatly to the lengthy delay. Although this will inevitably continue to be a factor, the pandemic won’t slow down season three. As a result, the process from production to screen ought to be simple.
A show that contains as much content as Gangs of London will require at least a year to prepare. Therefore, if a release date is soon, Season 3 should arrive in October 2023. However, given the current state of affairs, we might not learn what happens in the criminal underworld until as early as 2024.
Cheers to the supporters. The network has formally renewed the show for a third season, which means the wait has been worthwhile. Social media is awash with viewers’ questions about whether the show will be able to continue for further seasons.
It therefore comes as no surprise that the series is being continued given how well-liked it is by viewers and critics alike. Are you anticipating the next season of the show? Comment below with your thoughts and let us know.
