Ghostwire: Tokyo, the new Shinji Mikami, temporary exclusive for PS5
The decision to delay Ghostwire: Tokyo was not easy for Tango Gameworks. The Japanese study expressed last July what seemed an open secret: the game would not arrive in time for 2021 as a result of the difficulties derived from the coronavirus.
“We have made the decision to delay the release of Ghostwire: Tokyo until early 2022,” said Shinji Mikami’s team. “We want you to have the game in your hands as soon as possible, so that you can experience the unforgettable version of this enchanted Tokyo that we have been building with hard work. […] At the same time, we are focused on protecting the health of everyone in Tango ”.
Like so many exclusive console titles for PlayStation, Ghostwire: Tokyo will take advantage of some of the unique peculiarities of the PS5 hardware; from the haptic feedback of the triggers to the implementation of real-time ray-reasoning technology, HDR and 4K resolution thanks to reconstruction techniques, that is, of a dynamic nature. On the other hand, the title will also have support for 3D audio.
Ghostwire: Tokyo’s action-horror adventure bet will be available on PS5 and PC next year 2022.
